The location is fine.

I forgot my Apple Watch Series 2 at the apartment and the host confirmed that the watch is with him but refused to send or arrange for collection but blocked me because I refuse to pay 45 pounds which he said if for the cleaning of the apartment.

Very close to the Mander Centre, which we were attending a market over the weekend. The parking was easy and close by, and considering the area, it was very quiet which was a bonus. Lots of restaurants a 5 min drive away which was great.

The building itself is very grotty (although very quiet!), and the apartment was alright, very simple. The bathroom was very filthy, like it hadn't been cleaned at all, thick layer of scum on the taps and the toilet paper roll was empty when we got in (there were extras). Only one towel was provided even though I had booked for a couple. The mattress is old and springy, so was not very comfortable. General cleanliness was very poor, lots of dust everywhere. But it was quiet, and that was the most important thing for us!

For a studio flat it’s quite spacious. The kitchen is very big, well equipped and modern. The main room is west facing and over looks a park. The sofa and bed are very comfortable and the smart tv offers a wider variety of streaming services.

The building is like a maze but it’s not a problem, really. There check in instructions direct you straight to the room but it’s worth keeping them to hand if you take the wrong direction on the way out
