Great location

The bathroom was not 100th % clean, the toilet needed clean materials, we purchased and cleaned the toilet ourselves. Shower head was not properly fixed, water was spraying from the connectors, had to fasten it my hand

I recently booked an apartment at Cascades in Cape Town through Booking.com and had a terrible experience. Despite receiving detailed communication about where to find the keys, we encountered significant issues upon arrival. First, we received an email with a new pin for the lockbox, but neither the original nor the updated pin worked. After calling three times, we were told to go to the apartment to find the security guard, who would assist us with the key. However, when we got there, there was no security guard to be found. Another resident kindly helped us locate the security office, but by this point, we were running late for an appointment we had in Cape Town. To make matters worse, the security guard we eventually found was extremely rude and shouted at my husband for blocking the automatic sliding door while we were desperately searching for the key. We returned to the original location to look for the lockbox again, but there was still no key. With our time running out, we had no choice but to book alternative accommodation. While we were at our appointment, someone from Cascades finally reached out to say that they were at the apartment to help us—but it was too late. We had already booked another place to stay, and we were unable to return to the apartment. This experience was disappointing, especially considering that I've never had issues with Booking.com in the past and have always used them for my travel arrangements. I still trust Booking.com, but I urge them to seriously reconsider listing this apartment at Cascades in Cape Town. According to the manager at the guesthouse we ended up booking, this isn't the first time guests have been stranded due to key or communication issues at Cascades. Given the inconvenience and additional costs we incurred, we demand a refund for the booking at Cascades. I hope Booking.

Just to fetch the key far away from the exact accommodation. The local tv was not accesable.The room was not clean up to standard even upon complaining that was not attended to.

The location. Leniency towards check out time depending on the reason.

The couch had stains. The TV remote wasn't working properly. Bad instructions on how to obtain the keys.
