Die nahe Lage zum Strand, es ist ruhig, die Klimaanlage funktioniert gut. Auf Nachfrage wurden Probleme behoben.

Die Küche ist sehr dreckig und es sind 2 Teller vorhanden, sonst nichts. Der Kühlschrank ist in Ordnung. Das Bad stinkt und die Armaturen sind in die Jahre gekommen. Außerdem ist der Wasserdruck schlecht und es ist sehr nervtötend, bis das Warmwasser endlich funktioniert. Man fühlt sich dort nicht wirklich willkommen, der Gastgeber ist immer sehr im Stress und man fühlt sich als zusätzliche Belastung für ihn.

Zuallererst muss ich hervorheben, wie positiv überrascht wir von der Kommunikation mit dem Manager waren. Er hat immer sofort geantwortet und war zur Stelle, wenn man ihn brauchte. Außerdem durften wir auch früher einchecken, als geplant. Das Zimmer hatte die perfekte Größe und war weitestgehend auch sauber. Der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen, aber man kann sich vor Ort auch einen Roller mieten und mit diesem Trincomalee (etwa 25 Minuten entfernt) und weitere, fernere, Strände erkunden. Einen Supermarkt gibt es auch in unmittelbarer Nähe. Wasser kann man auch im Restaurant nebenan kaufen. Zudem hat uns auch das Restaurant sehr angesprochen. Da gibt es das beste Egg Kothu. Vielen Dank insbesondere auch von Spicy Man!

Die Dusche war zum Teil nicht so sauber wie erhofft. An den Rändern gab es ein paar schwarze Ablagerungen (wir sind von Schimmel ausgegangen). Zudem hat uns leider auch Handseife gefehlt. Kleinere Mängel über die man bei einem kürzeren Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall hinwegsehen kann

The owner was so helpful. They have just opened a restaurant next to the hostel so you can enjoy breakfast or whatever you need. It's just 10' walking to Nilaveli beach.

Good location, road was a bit bumpy. Overall the rooms were good and comfy.

Rooms were smelly, it was unbearable, it was coming from the toilets. We had to keep the windows open several times. Other then that if you want to buy food, I recommend going to town for cheaper food. The prices are insane in the area.

Just a 10-minute walk to a beautiful, uncrowded beach, which has a nice beach bar and restaurant where you can rent out beds & parasols. - Had everything we needed for our 4-night stay. - Responsive host, who is always willing to help and tries to fix whatever issues you point out. - Small 'restaurant' at the guesthouse as well Overall: For the price, you can't beat this place. The minor issues are easy to overlook, and we would definitely recommend it to other travelers on a budget.

- Bathroom was a bit unappealing and had a gutter smell. The shower also didn't drain well and the water pressure was low. - Slow wifi. - Breakfast was nothing special. - Woken up around 8 AM one day to loud construction work in the guesthouse.
