Tangier Apartment old Medina

La situación es inmejorable dentro de la Medina.

El ruido de la calle por la noche y el olor a tubería del baño.

fantastic airconditioning and the power shower was the best ! Lovely rooftop views with small kitchen and washing machine and dryer (easy to use). right on the edge of the medina and easy to find. we walked from the ferry port in 15 minutes. next day a 15 minute walk up to the bus stop to transit onwards from Tangier railway station

We had the apartment on the top floor which has its own living space & kitchen/ dining area. This is lovely to have when you are staying away. A few people mentioned how amazing the shower was so we were keen to try it…& it didn’t disappoint! There is air con in the bedroom but not in the living space. It does get very hot - but this is Morocco! Being able to open the windows let in a nice breeze. The bed was large enough & comfortable. The pillows, bedding & towels were all good quality. The property provides shower gel, shampoo & separate conditioner (which is important!) You also have access to the shared terrace (although we didn’t use this) & the kitchenette & laundry. The property provides washing tablets & has a washing machine & tumble dryer. There is a fridge freezer in the kitchen & tea bags were provided also. The location is great; the property is tucked away but easy to find with the directions. Lots of cafes & food places close by. The port is a few mins walk where you can get the Hop On Hop Off bus, taxis or just walk down the promenade to the beach. The local beach is perfectly fine; clean & has wicker parasols for some shade

The area can be noisy - but this is Morocco! With the windows closed & air con going, we had very peaceful sleep. Breakfast is in the local cafe a couple of mins walk. The timings are a bit unknown! If you google it, it says it opens at 11 but people were in there well before then. We went one day at 11 but couldn’t have breakfast when we had a tour booked at 9 as it wasn’t open. Not a problem for us, but just for info 😊

- AMAZING shower! It was super good - the best we have had in Marocco! - Very good location, easy to find with the direction. - Very good space in the flat, nice to have that when travelling really, truly relaxed. - Comfy bed and sofa.

- the wifi can be a bit patchy. - not enough hand wash, was told there was shower gel.

It was a little tricky to find even with the proprietors detailed instructions. It’s a little pricy for Morocco (IMO) but it seems that Tangier is in general a more expensive city (food, souvenirs, and services all seem to be “tourist price” here).

Good location in the old town. Small room but clean and good shower. Breakfast was simple but good.

Door entry system is a key code. First one offered did not work so had to ask for help to gain access. Host was responsive but it was a pain as we had no phone signal at the apartment door.

Lovely! Exceeded expectations. So nice to have a private apartment and still have breakfast included. We loved it here.
