The light inside the door of my apartment is really annoying and there is no need for it to be automated. I sleep with the bedroom door open and everytime I moved during the night the light came on. If my wife used the ensuite the light came on. Il get over it though 😂

We loved how bright and airy the apartment was and how clean. So close to Crooklets Beach which was great, and only a short stroll into town. The lounge and kitchen overlook the beer garden and golf course so there was lots of hustle and bustle, especially on the bank holiday weekend, but the bedrooms were so tranquil and quiet - all we could hear was birdsong. A really lovely place to stay.

My mum (in her 80s) struggled with all the stairs, but she managed them with a break on the seat provided halfway up, and still loved her holiday.

Really enjoyed our stay here. We were walking the SWCP and taking a rest night in Bude so we booked the budget double room for two nights. It suited us perfectly. The location right across the road from crooklets beach was perfect. We had a very nice sauna on the beach, very relaxing. Our bathroom had a bath, which was fantastic after our long walk. We ate in the bar both nights and I thought the food was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Was more of a hostel vibe than apartment ! Would be great for surfers as it has that vibe Could hear all noise from adjoining apartments and upstairs
