Morpeth, Northumberland home

The house was perfect. Lovely countryside quiet area. The home was lovely and spacious. The decorating was very sweet, the right level of homely. The sitting room is great and the DVD collection was amazing. We sat and watched 3 films in a row and we never normally do that. I just really appreciated our visit and will definitely book again if we’re visiting the area. Was sad only to stay for one night!

Only thing I would request is the bathroom door being oiled as it’s very squeaky :)

The beds were really comfortable, we had a good night's rest on our way up to Scotland. The kids really enjoyed their room with the cuddly toys and the bunk beds. Also, the communication with the host was good and quick.

Location is superb. Sally is very helpful. The house is definitely recommended.

Very clean, comfortable and all we needed. Shower was good and hot, bed’s comfy. Off road parking and friendly neighbours. Host was available during our stay to answer a couple of questions. All in all a good rental.

Double Bed very uncomfortable springs. Had to sleep on top of the bed on top of the spare duvet & single spare t duvet just to pad it out so it was bearable! Cutlery in drawn dirty. Arrival message from owner saying "only 7 minutes in Shower due to hot water" NOT ACCEPTABLE.. Sofa in Lounge stained & uncomfortable no support very worn! TV was Huge but pointless as No channels available NO FREEVIEW CHANNELS. NO TV for my 11year old to watch, let alone myself? Towels looked & felt old. "The House has subsidence especially in the main front bedroom, felt like you're on a boat"! The owner messaged to say she needed to come into the house?! Very unprofessional! She wanted to check samples of wallpaper & paint as on my departure she's having it decorated. Also during my stay at 7.30pm on Tuesday the Gardener came to the house. Just turned up and started mowing the lawn at the front Garden in full view, in front of the large patio doors. I was NOT asked was this ok? Actually my daughter had just got out of the shower, after spending the day at the Beach & wanted something from downstairs. She got scared of a strange man in the garden NOT ACCEPTABLE! ON Departure day a Decorator knocked on the backdoor wanting to Gain access,? I told him NO we vacate at 10am we are finishing packing AGAIN NOT ACCEPTABLE!! Not impressed at all over priced! Was rated High MIS+LEAD!! WANT PART OF MY MONEY TO BE RE FUNDED DUE THE OVERALL MIS-apps that spoilt my time away on Holiday with my daughter???

Great terraced house with good facilities and all home comforts. Offload parking was good. House was well equipped and clean.

Only the poor quality mattresses tbh. They are very soft and not independently sprung.

Shower although new set up sprays water all over window and sill. May cause problems in future.
