Charming room near Southmead

Location is good

House smelt of weed on the 1st floor. Heading to the bedroom the door is missing a door handle and room smelt of cigarettes. Door wouldnt close unless locked, very poor maintenance. Cigarette burn marks on the duvet and dirt found throughout the room. Just felt very unclean and uncomfortable. Difficult to find time to use the shared facilities as it always seemed occupied. Cars on the driveway didnt park so guests could use, but advert says no parking, permit holder parking outside during certain hours though.

Fantastic little find. Excellent value for money. Off road parking on drive, lovely quiet street. Check-in was good, with easy to follow instructions. We were on the 2nd floor in attic room number 6. Room light & airy, quiet & clean with a comfortable bed & 2 complimentary hand towels. It was the Bristol baloon festival, and we watched them go past the bedroom window. Bathroom/shower/toilet room on 1st floor, spacious & clean. There was a toilet on the ground floor, clean & tidy (much smaller). On the ground floor, there's also a large communal kitchen and large garden, we only stayed for the 1 night, so we didn't use either, but Fantastic if staying for longer. Short walk across a park to Gloucester Road with bus route to city centre or close to Southmead hospital. Overall, we would definitely stay here again.

Could have done with an extra pillow (but that's just me, I like to sleep with 2 pillows)

Although the house was in good shape and in a relatively good neighbourhood our stay was marred by a lack of care and responsibility regarding safeguarding.

A tenant smoked, drank, shouted, had dodgy meetings, slammed doors inside the house all of the evening and night. The owner/manager/ business/whoever don’t keep an eye on who is there and allow bad/ criminal behaviour to happen. Also electricity is wasted as lights are left on all day and night for no reason in locked rooms or in other parts of the house..This disrupts other guests time there and when approached about our bad experience the manager seemed very nonchalant and not caring about it. Please investigate what is happening at 11 kenmore crescent as it’s not good enough and desperately needs improvement ASAP!?.
