Il Granile Contemporary Loft

Location was fantastic. The Loft is was very clean, spacious and modern. Damasco was lovely and very helpful, especially when we need directions to the parking station.

Such a stylish place. Well decorated and so comfortable! All needs thought of. Lovely toiletries provided. Yea and coffee, milk in fridge on arrival Also complimentary biscuits etc. The position was great. Very central to both sasi’s and great for bus transfer as not to difficult a walk from there only 10mins. Booking in we were met and the lady Simone was so helpful and lovely. Not a cave but think I wouldn’t have liked a cave… this was so nice.

Nothing- would stay again

Very special place, the pictures do not serve it justice. Simona, our host, greeted us personally and her explanations at the beginning were very helpful as we only stayed one day and night. We did as she suggested the next day and Matera and this accommodation became the highlight of our vacation in Puglia. Thank you! Aside from water, there was even a small milk carton in the fridge, we used to make cappuccino in the morning with the biscuits they provided. It is not only a very stylish, but also very thoughtful accommodation!

No breakfast was included with the room. Bed was very comfortable. Location was excellent. Parking at close by secure car park cost 20 euros per night which was considered quite satisfactory. The contemporary architecture was nice to see but there were practical shortcomings. The room was quite spacious.

We are a well travelled couple who have stayed in hundreds of hotel and B & B rooms over the years, so can speak with some experience. The furnishings were well below our expectations for the price. Two open hanging racks were provided but there was no shelving or any drawers to put items that didn't hang. No baggage racks were supplied and bags had to be placed on the floor. The two lounge chairs were comfortable enough but the coverings were very worn and torn in places. They did not present well at all. No coffee table was provided to place drinks while sitting in the chairs. Tea and coffee making facilities were good but were located on the entry level with the water supply being at the vanity basin on the upper level. Very impractical and involved numerous trips up and down stairs. The facilities would be better located on the upper level. The small desk supplied looked old which may have been the intention but it actually looked cheap. The shower was problematical. The clear glass screen open to the whole room is supposed to be a feature, but not everybody wants to be on full view showering, even with intimate partners. Frosted glass, even not fully to the top, would have been preferable to us anyway. There is intrusive noise from the adjoining loft on the lower level, especially at night.

Spacious, comfortable and beautiful place! Great location, wonderfull and friendly staff, a lot of good restaurants in surroundings. Highly recommend the place!

The design and quality of materials is amazing. I loved this flat. Location. Is very convinient. The coordinators are super nice.

Love the design and location! It was a beautiful space! The staff was also amazing! They handles any issues quickly and efficiently.

There was some construction going on outside when we were there but the people were nice and it wasn't a problem aside from noise.
