Mandarin Hotel Kota Kinabalu

Near to my event space at Horizon Hotel, the staff is really nice and kind.

The sink broke so we have to rush to change to another room. I acidentally left my favourite shirt there and the hotel staff threw it away. they did not contact the owner of the room or check if the person staying there is still around. They took my shirt and they threw it way. They threw it away because it was slightly damp. I love that shirt and have been cherishing it for half a decade. It was my favourite shirt and i cannot get it anywhere anymore now that I have looked it up. I hope that the hotel checks if the person staying in the room is still at the location before disposing any belonging

Amenities provided - kettle, drinking bottle, toothbrush, shampoo, soap, slippers and towel. Location - center, walking distance to Pasar Todak and Handcraft Market, night and sunday market are right on the doorstep. Triple Room is spacious.

Lighting - quite dim, need to used own mirror near window.

Conveniently located at the ‘entrance’ of pleasant Jalan Gaya where the small National Monument Park is. Lots of F&B outlets here and at nearby gentrified Lorong Dewan (1-2 streets away) with cool cafes & art/handicrafts shops to chill out.
