Eftichia Apartment Nea Chora

The apartment is huge and beautiful, the owner is so so nice and lovely, the location is great, close to the beach and all amenities, we loved it and had a wonderful time!

The location and apartment were amazing. The value was far more than we expected. We couldn’t believe how amazing it was. We were located in a fantastic area, a short walk or drive and everything is near. Our hose was incredibly accommodating. We had an excellent stay and would definitely choose this location again.

We wish we could have stayed longer.

Great location and close enough for the town centre 15 minutes walk and close to a lovely bakery on the main road for breakfast, lovely cake selection. Parking space available under, friendly host.

Basically, I think mattresses could do with some new upgrades and pillows, curtains more with blackout to block out the light.

Really comfortable, spacious, functional apartment with everything you need for a longer stay: plenty of towels, well equipped kitchen, washing machine with washing powder, 3 balconies, lift to get upstairs with luggages. Location is fantastic: one way only 6 mins to a child-friendly beach and many tavernas (although most of them are overpriced tourist traps), another way is to great local coffee shops, vegetable groceries, supermarket etc. shopping street is just 10 mins away. Pretty old town of Chania is just 20 mins walk. There is also allocated parking . There is no Aircon but we had 3 fans and they were sufficient in July. Chania itself is very nice although is not as pretty as rethymno old town.

Unfortunately the apartment is managed by very unprofessional company set in Germany. They didn’t provide clear instructions of the arrival arrangements up to a few hours before check-in, on all my messages I got an automated response that all staff is on some kind of training (for 3 days on a row). Yet they sent a very inquisitive questionnaire compulsory to fill prior arrival , asking unnecessary details (sort of your pre-marriage surname and your first pet’s name, along with full passport details). However the Greek staff who met us at the property were all very friendly and nice. The apartment has a strong smell of cats as all the furniture etc absorbed previous housed cats (there are claw marks everywhere). Not a problem for us but if you are allergic bear that in mind. One of the bedrooms as other guests mentioned was on the East side and it had no black out curtains, so it’s a boilers room first half of the day. We improvised and put the sofa covers on the rails to make it liveable

Fairly central. 5 min walk to beach. 10mins to town. Very clean and spacious. Lovely staff. Very helpful

The house was very big and very clean. It was very close to Chania center there was many beaches around. Perfect location to stay.It made feel like we were staying in our own house. And also the host was very very nice person and very helpful about our trip. We had very nice time staying in there and enjoyed a lot. If we come back to Chania again (for sure we will!!) we would stay in that place again for sure!!. Strongly recommended for other people who is looking place to stay.

Perfect location. Super owner, can be recommended. Free parking. Lots of restaurants nearby, very nice beach. We will definitely be back.
