Blue Waves Balangan Homestay

Thank you to Blue Waves ! Everything was perfect ! The host is very sweet and helpful, if I will come back to Uluwatu, I will stay here, no doubt :)

I enjoyed this hidden oasis in the middle of Uluwatu. Welcoming and heartwarming people offer you guidance through your whole stay. Highly recommend for anyone who is passing through and looking for a place to just relax and enjoy this magical accommodation.

All was well

The host is a lovely guy, always responsive and kind. The room was alright, and the bed, sheets, and pillows were comfortable and clean. No insects or geckos inside, and cleaning was done daily or whenever we asked

We’d read in a review about a sewage smell in the bathroom and assumed it was just the typical mild smell some bathrooms in Bali have. It was much worse than expected. Every morning, after the ventilation had been off overnight (it’s too noisy to keep on while sleeping), the smell was unbearable. I literally had to hold my breath when entering the bathroom. The sink in the room is in a concerning state and should be changed immediately. It's just extremely gross. Bonus points: sewage smell comes out of the sink at occasionally so it's just so dope to wash your teeth and smell that. The bathroom door is also deteriorated because the shower is positioned awkwardly right next to it, so it’s constantly getting wet. Wi-Fi was unreliable (around 10 Mbps). Sometimes it worked fine, but not stable enough for work calls. My partner had to work one day, so we left 2 days earlier. The host refunded one night, which we appreciated.

The family living/managing the property were nice, so was the man who initially welcomed me upon my arrival and helped me with my luggage. Having a mini fridge in the room was also a nice addition.

Was für ein unglaublich tolles Homestay! 😍Wir haben erst für 1 Woche gebucht und sind dann einfach ein Monat geblieben, weil es so toll war! Der Mitarbeiter, Sajpun ist so lieb und wir hatten tolle Gespräche mit ihm und war immer da, wenn wir etwas gebraucht haben. Ich hab zudem eine Surflesson mit Erik (Besitzer) genommen, und hab viel gelernt. Wir kommen wieder! 🥰

La camera molto accogliente e super pulita. Confortevole e dotata di frigo bar.

La posizione, per me troppo lontana dalla zona di padang e purtroppo il bagno emanava odore brutto. Dopo il terzo giorno è diventato insopportabile
