ZAThe location is very peaceful and secluded, yet on-site staff (especially Lydia) were always readily available - top notch! The sound of the waves is incredible due to its proximity to the beach. Local food vendors were very friendly even accepting orders via WhatsApp texts, and offering delivery. Our host, Petal, was very helpful in connecting us to safe and reputable transportation and food service options.
While the location was quite remote, other cottages were are built in very close proximity. Access to the location definitely requires a 4x4 vehicle - a fact which was not made clear prior to reservation or arrival, and incurring last-minute transportation expenses. Access to the beach from the cottage itself was difficult (even unsafe for young kids or if you are a fall risk). Efforts could be made to establish a safely cleared pathway to access the beach. Payment process was unnecessarily complicated. Actual methods accepted are NOT as advertised on this website, and the host was very disorganised in this regard.
