La ubicación es buena al estar junto a la Plaza Camões y el apartamento está reformado.

Está en un edificio ruinoso y es un bajo algo claustrofóbico y muy estrecho todo. La limpieza podría ser mejor.

Era un zulo sin luz natural ni aire limpio, donde ademas el calor es insoportable. El patio es un rincón sucio y oscuro, al que llegan todas las bajantes del edificio, lo que hace que el apartamento huela continuamente a cloaca, en el apartamento hay un ambientador que intenta disimular el olor, pero os aseguro que no hace su función. Además, os tocará compartir el apartamento con cucarachas del calibre de la de la foto.

DON'T BOOK THIS PLACE.... It smells like sewage in the apartment. The apartment has NO windows, except for one small window/door that brings you to a very very very tiny inner court (where you don't want to spend any time, trust me). In this area the airconditioning of the neighbors is hanging, which makes so much noise, so you cannot open the only tiny window/door of the apartment. The worst thing about the place: the inner climate is very bad (super humid, no ventilation). If you care at all of your health, do not book this place. Also the front door doesn't lock (which is simply dangerous). The pictures look a lot better than in reality. The host was incredibly rude by the way. I never got a proper check in (I had to ask 5 times for the code of the box near the door, no info about anything), and he never responded to my questions. He basically said "good luck, you go and fix things yourself" and said very inappropriate and rude things. This place should be taken of booking. I have travelled a lot, and always had good experiences with booking, but I never had this kind of experience before. In Holland these type of apartments are prohibited, it is simply unacceptable.

Absolutely fantastic and super central location - yet very quiet! I really appreciated the personalized touch of having delicious pasteis de nata waiting for me when I arrived. I also really appreciated one of the hosts coming over in person to help me get into the flat when I could only find the front door code but could not find the actual flat door code in my messages. I really appreciated the hosts being flexible to allow an early check in.

1) No direct natural light. There were no windows that led directly to the outdoors. There was a small, high window in the kitchen that "looked" out on a small dark stone lobby (which itself had a small window onto the street). And there was a small internal courtyard which if you looked up several floors, there was a shaft of light and small view of the sky. As a result, it felt a bit claustrophic and a bit stuffy with not much fresh air flow. Though they have done a great job of using the existing space to have a separate lounge, separate bathroom, separate bedroom and small inner courtyard - and making it as cozy as possible. On the big plus side, as a result of having no direct windows with natural light, it was exceptionally quiet - even when people were sitting on the front steps of the building drinking until the wee hours. So if you want both the great advantage of a quiet, comfortable central flat but also being able to tune out the partying when you want a quiet night, this could be the place for you. 2) A bit of confused communication to get into the place - I was initially given photos and directions for a different flat; as well as given a different street name than the actual street name listed on booking.com and googlemaps. But in the end, one of the hosts was super responsive and came to the flat to let me in. 3) On and off again, slight sewage-like smell from the inner courtyard. It is an older building and this is not an uncommon smell that I smelled in older (and otherwise super charming) residential buildings in Lisboa and Porto. But it made it a little bit tricky to get any fresh air flowing into the flat.
