Warm friendly welcome. Offered a cup of tea as soon as we walked through the door! The bedroom was just the right size, very clean and cosy Breakfast was plentiful and served with a small.

We didn't like the fact that we didn't have enough time to stay longer

Most of the food is made from scratch and is of high quality. The staff have a passion for what they do and they are attentive and caring towards their guests. The venue has wonderful views of the surrounding area. Attention to detail in the rooms gives a strong first impression. The local area is easily accessible and is beautiful.

The twin beds were a little small and my buddy fell out when turning over. It was funny though. Other than that the picture in the hallway outside my room scared me a little ha ha but that’s being picky. It was an amazing place.

We were greeted by Neil. He explained what a wet Nellie was when we came to order dessert Staff were hospitable attentive and friendly. . Their attention to detail is second to none(brand of tea, coffee etc) . It was little acts of kindness and, thoughtfulness that made it special(see photo in bedroom, plate on bedside table ) . Food was exceptional and delicious. I'm unable to swallow, Michael offered to cut the crusts off my toast but how it was cooked with the egg and avocado enabled me to eat everything including the crusts. It was the best breakfast I have enjoyed in a long time. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the porridge(no ordinary porridge ) then the cooked breakfast It was extremely tasty. Great start to the day. Thoroughly enjoyed our whole time there, we didn't want to leave . Must mention Zoe's chocolate brownie. The best brownie I have ever tasted. Soft yet keeping that chocolate crunch..... it was amazing!

A beautiful property in the most amazing location, the views were outstanding. Our lovely room had panoramic views of the breathtaking countryside. The gardens were very well kept and had we had longer there we’d have loved to sit outside and enjoy the surroundings.

Absolutely nothing…

Breakfast was totally, utterly exceptional. The choice amazing, presentation a work of art and yummy. The great staff make the place even more than the views! The chocolate brownies are the very best I've ever had and I am a chocolate brownie expert.

Because I guess of my late booking, I had the only room that doesn't have an ensuite. A lovely bathroom down the corridor all to myself which was great. `i will try to book earlier next time - I do like an en suite where possible. But this did not detract from my most enjoyable stay. I only mention it because you are asking me to! I was unable to have a really hot shower - an issue known to the staff and they are going to tend to it. No problem for me because the weather was warm but it wouldn't be so good in the winter1

The hosts were super-helpful, outstanding location and views to die for. The rooms were immaculate with crisp bed linen and fabulous extras. Most of all, the breakfast, all home made and locally sourced was outstanding!
