WoodSpring Suites Waco South

Next to a theater, bowling alley and Top Golf. Mostly great stay. I had to give 5 star because bathroom and bed was great. Also liked it had premium channels and a good working AC. The only negative was the window shade let light in.

Unfortunately our stay here was far from good. To start, front desk was not professional nor attended us in a friendly or prompt manner as we arrived to check in. The front desk receptionist seemed as if she was bothered by our presence and was on the phone before attending us and while attending us. She looked annoyed as if we were interrupting her conversation. She was also not clear on instructions for checking in, did not provide WiFi info or anything of that sort. Simply we signed our paperwork and got our keys. The hotel room smelled humid, made random noises and the bedding was not clean. The linens smelled like sweat and had multiple stains. We were awakened the following morning with the fire alarm going off but apparently no fire was present. Not sure what happened there. At night around 11:30 p.m. we were also awakened by someone (a child about 10) vacuuming the hallways. The keycards also needed up not functioning midway our stay. Needless to say, we are not coming back nor recommend this place.

No one there to check us in for 20 minutes. $2.50 a day for hand towels. Bed paper thin. Place is a joke and embarassment to the hotel industry.

I can't necessarily give a review of the room because when I went to check in I was told they had no rooms and to reach out to Expedia. Expedia customer service attempted to call but no one responded. After a 30 minute wait, Expedia was told by a different staff member that a room was available, but by that time we had moved on. I have not received a refund from the hotel for services they did not provide. Not a great experience at 11PM at night after being on the road. Would not recommend based on the terrible customer service.

I just like carpet better than the vinyl flooring.

The customer service was great. The bathroom didn’t have any towels nor soap in it. There was no mirror nor iron nor ironing board in the room. The lady at the front desk had to put clean sheets on my bed and she did it with a smile and was very apologetic. The staff was very nice and polite, but the room was lacking some things. The website said breakfast but there was no breakfast.
