Sotogrande Hotel and Convention Center Batangas

Excellent stay overall. The staff were very accommodating, the hotel was clean, facilities were great, food was enjoyable, and it offered good value for money.

The only drawback is that it’s quite far from transportation, which may be inconvenient for travelers without private transport.

We stayed for 2 nights as we were in Batangas to attend a wedding. The staff are nice and accommodate us professionally!

I like that it was near the event we were going to, and that the hotel was new so facilities look good.

I felt like the staff needed more training on how to handle guests. For example: They cleaned our room and they did a good job however my room became very hot (and mind you it's summer so it was 35C outside) because they removed my card from the slot where it gives you electricity — not only did they remove it, but they took it as well. Also, during breakfast, my father preferred fried egg rather than scrambled egg so we asked the staff nicely, however they cane back and said it's not possible. Of all the hotels we've been to, this is the only hotel we had to convince to produce a simple fried egg. It's so disappointing.
