"Definitely will NOT be back! NOT dog friendly!!"

1.0

Booking.com ruled the case in my favour which I think tells you all you need to know!! AVOID!!! UPDATE: glad I took the video before we left as owner now saying we owe £120 for deep cleaning! The video shows wet marks on the floor from where we had mopped! UPDATE: owner has submitted a claim for £100 for apparently neglecting my dogs in the property for 18hours... We were only at the property for 15 hours and we were with them the whole time and they were walked at 7pm, 10pm and 6am. The dogs did not have behaviour issues I advised the host I was a dog behaviourist to assure her my dogs were well behaved. The dogs were at no point let unattended and her reply to this review is complete insanity! Be extremely careful with this lady!! Woman is unhinged! I blocked her to prevent further threatening messages being sent to me demanding money and complete lying accusations. Garden is not "dog friendly", be prepared to have the neighbour banging on the kitchen window if you dare to go out the back door of the property. Dogs not allowed upstairs either. Very unwelcoming host who admitted to having bad experiences with previous guests and applies that to you with accusations (from the helpful neighbour) without even speaking to you first. We absolutely will never be back and do not recommend visiting, ESPECIALLY if you have a dog!! This property is NOT dog friendly and shouldn't be listed as such! Never felt so uncomfortable to stay anywhere! Been more comfortable and welcomed in a motorway service station! I took a video when we left the property through fear of any futher inaccurate accusations! UPDATE: glad I took the video as owner now saying we owe £120 for deep cleaning!

What a gem, the cottage exceeded our expectations. It was warm, cosy and had everything we needed. The host provided a lovely welcome pack with everything we needed to get going, including local fresh eggs. The location is ideal for exploring the local countryside and Bike Park Wales. Highly recommend, we will certainly be returning to stay again.
