Great location for Alnwick castle and gardens and barter books.

Everything was good

The location of the guest house is brilliant. I left my car in the guest house carpark and used public transport to visit Seahouses, Berwick upon Tweed as well as Morpeth. I also visited Alnwick Castle which was excellent and the Playhouse Cinema just down the road. I loved the fact you could come and go as you pleased. The refreshments were topped up daily and as well as biscuits etc. The property was quiet with a lovely comfy bed.

Nothing, everything was absolutely great.

From the warm welcome to a wonderful room, beautifully furnished and super clean - this was an excellent place to stay.

It’s on the main road, so if traffic noise is a major issue for you, bring ear plugs. The Deluxe Double (Room 3) is at the back of the house and is much more secluded.

The room was very comfortable, more so than I expected at the price. The location was absolutely perfect; it's opposite Barter Books, one of the main attractions in Alnwick, and right down the road from the Playhouse (which serves a fantastic breakfast). The owner was friendly and communicative, and helped us with our questions.

The road outside is sometimes very loud; not so much during the night, but in the morning and evening.

Good location. Free parking. Very clean. Lovely furnishings. Fab tea tray

No breakfast but the coffee and tea offered in room was good. The house was close to several great coffee shops.
