Belvedere di Ancona

The apartment is spacious and has a lovely balcony facing the town and the sea, which really enhances the overall experience. However, both the flat and the entire building could use some renovation. The owner is friendly and helpful. On the positive side, the apartment has air conditioning, and restaurants and the sea are nearby.

Note that the apartment is on the second floor with no elevator. Parking can be difficult if you arrive late at night — you may need to park farther away.

Appartement très vétuste, avec une très mauvaise odeur. Vaisselle ébrêchée et manche de cafetière cassée (dangereux), linges de bain mal lavés. Cet appartement était beaucoup trop cher par rapport aux prestations offertes, et les photos sur le site ne représentaient pas la réalité! Et nous devions avoir deux chambres alors que l'une était fermée à clé.

We were met by the host who was very helpful and gave us information about the property, local shops and travelling round Ancona. The view from the balcony was lovely and we felt at home in a real Italian city, away from standard tourist paraphernalia. It was easy to get into town and the beaches and coast walks. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. A really lovely stay!

Excellent place, great space, great location. Host was the best, accommodating our changes even at last minute request. The place was much more than I expected, and the interaction with Andrea was the best possible!

Nothing in specific was not liked. An improvement could be made for the bed sheets to be more comfortable, same for the pillows. But for the value and short stay, it’s all very good!
