Villa Elounda Plaka

The villa inside was big, comfortable and qiute.

There were many items in and outside the house that were not working. Had been broken and not repaired or replaced. We met the property manager and his partner to discuss these. Most of the items were dealt with almost immediately. However after our discussions ended we felt that had we not mentioned anything nothing would have been done. There were numerous items faulty. Coffee machine, wall mirror broken, dining chairs outside, broken lounger, wall light hanging off outside, no bulbs in some outside lights, damaged mosquito nets, broken fencing outside etc... These items and others would have been very noticeable to the people responsible for looking after this building. Checking before each booking that all items are in good working order as it states on the website for this villa is essential There are 3 villas in a line at this location. All entered through a secure automated gate.Villa Blue, Villa Elounda Plaka and a third villa ( unnamed) still under construction. No construction work was being carried out during our stay. It is worth noting that there is considerable building works going on around Plaka. The access road to the local builders merchants is about 100 mtrs or so away. From the pool area the sound of lorries and other such a vehicles can be clearly heard. It is not constant and did not prevent us from using the pool area but if you are considering staying here it is worth considering.

Love this villa so much. Everything was clean and worked perfectly. The kids loved the pool and we felt very safe in the privacy that offers this property. There are many excellent beaches nearby and also a huge selection of restaurants, cafes, bars, and shops. Much gratitude to everyone who helped us to book and look after us before and during our stay.
