Sahaja Sawah Resort

Das Resort liegt mitten in den Reisfelder, abgelegen vom Touristentrouble. Man kann herrlich entspannen. Wir hatten eine Villa mit Privatpool. Sie war für 4 Personen sehr geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und lecker. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auch die Massagen sind zu empfehlen.

An der Unterkunft gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die kostenlosen Roller sind allerdings etwas altersschwach, aber für einen kleinen Ausflug zum Strand völlig ausreichend. Der Strand lädt leider nicht zum Verweilen ein. Baden darf man dort auch nicht.

The location was very remote which we loved. It is not for everyone but suited us to be away from the hustle and bustle. One of the staff, Putu, took us for a tour of the neighbourhood. It was so interesting. The nearby water temple is a hidden gem. We were able to hire a driver for the day who took us around to a lot of places of interest. The resort wasn’t huge and so it was nice and quiet around the pool. The spa was beautiful too.

The attention by some of the staff could have been better. Mostly it was top notch but things like collecting left overs from room service took days. Likewise glasses and beer bottles around the pool. However it wasn’t a big issue.

De rust en de ruimte. Het personeel is super vriendelijk en je wordt echt in de watten gelegd. De opzet als foundation is erg mooi en je ziet dat ook terug in het dorp de omgeving en de mensen.

- l’eau de piscine très froide - service lent par moment. - La machine à laver moisie ( par manque d’entretien), ils ont du intervenir plusieurs fois pour régler le problème.

The staff are super friendly and helpful. The rooms were amazing and the food was delicious. The location is great, just a bit of a drive to see major attractions around Bali. For relaxing family holiday though it was perfect.

A hidden gem tucked away in the hills surrounded by lush nature. The staff were exceptional, so kind and caring always aiming to please. Fantastic food. Stunning buildings and grounds, well built and meticulously looked after. The spa was a treat. Lots of lovely little perks like complimentary bikes, scooters, golf carts and activities. Awesome place for children including a play pen and fish pond. Honestly, this place is a dream.

There were gates on our stairs to make safe for toddlers which were a touch although the latches weren’t practical as they went into the floor and were tricky to use.
