ININOur three-day stay at Mahant Ji Residency in Varanasi was an amazing experience. The owner and staff were exceptionally warm and friendly, treating us like family from the moment we arrived. What sets this hotel apart is the personalized assistance they offer. Vishal and Aryan, two of the staff members, were incredibly helpful in guiding us around the city. They accompanied us through the narrow streets (gallis), helped with darshans at temples, and even arranged affordable auto rides and boat trips, saving us from overspending. This hotel is ideal for temple visits. Itโs located within walking distance of major temples like Vishalakshi Temple, Annapurna Temple, Dundi Ganapati, Sakshi Ganapati, and Kashi Vishwanath Mandir. The famous Dashashwamedh Ghat for the Ganga Aarti is also close by. One unique feature of this hotel is that they donโt demand advance payment, unlike other hotels that require a deposit. Payment is made directly at the property, making the process very convenient. The highlight of our stay was the genuine hospitality. I spent a lot of time chatting with the staff at the receptionโthey were that approachable! Even though we speak Telugu, we had no trouble communicating with them as they were fluent in Hindi and English. If youโre looking for a family-friendly, conveniently located hotel with staff who truly care about your experience, I highly recommend Mahant Ji Residency. Itโs the perfect place to stay if you want to explore Varanasi comfortably and affordably.
The only issue was the lack of a drinking water filter system, so we had to purchase bottled water from outside.
INProperly was near the Kashi Vishwanath Mandir which made it easier to travel. It is also situated in the middle of the old varanasi which also lead to exploration of the famous varanasi gaaliyan.
Nothing, everything was perfect.
