Villa Kelapa Kucing

Service was great. Special requests were accommodated. Cleaning and maintenance crew did a great job every day and even arrived during a blackout to turn on the generator.

Could have used a few additional bikes but we were able to rent them with no problem.

The villa is beautifully designed and very well located for getting around the whole island. Great to have bikes available to use. The pool is perfect and we even spent a whole day without leaving the villa apart from grabbing some food from the nearby shop. The staff were very helpful and arranged a number of transport services including an extra bike and a horse cart to and from the harbour. They were also quick to resolve a small issue we had with a power outage on one of the evenings.

There were a number of minor things that I think could have made the stay even more comfortable for example access to a hairdryer would have been helpful.

The spaciousness extends to all areas, including the living spaces, bedrooms, and outdoor areas, making it perfect for groups or families. Huge Bathrooms: Each bathroom in the villa is remarkably large, providing a sense of luxury and comfort that enhances the overall stay. The size and design of the bathrooms are a clear indication of the villa's commitment to providing an exceptional guest experience. Good Size Pool: The pool is perfectly sized for a group of up to 6 people, making it an ideal place to cool off and relax after a day of exploring Gili Air. Its clean, inviting waters complement the villa's outdoor space beautifully. Power Continuity with Generator: Power outages can be a common issue in Gili Air, but Villa Kela Kucing addresses this seamlessly with their own generator. This thoughtful addition ensures that guests can enjoy uninterrupted comfort and convenience, regardless of external power issues. Complimentary Bicycles: Understanding the importance of exploring Gili Air's scenic beauty, the villa provides new bicycles with baby seats upon request. This not only adds to the convenience but also shows the villa's commitment to accommodating guests with families. Exceptional Staff: The staff at Villa Kela Kucing are truly the heart of the guest experience. Their friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond to assist with any needs or issues make the stay even more enjoyable. Their proactive approach to solution-finding is commendable and adds a layer of reassurance for guests.

The issues outlined below are suggested for enhancing the overall stay experience. They do not directly pertain to the villa itself. Need for Additional Lighting: One noticeable area for improvement is the lighting in the alley leading to the villa. Despite the property itself being super well-lit, the dark alley can be a concern for guests returning to the villa after sunset. Additional lighting in this area would not only improve safety but also make guests feel more secure when navigating their way back to the villa at night. External Road Clean-Up: While the villa's interior cleanliness is impeccable, deserving a 5-star rating, the area immediately outside could use some attention. Trash accumulation around the villa, a widespread issue on Gili Air, mars its otherwise spotless and inviting atmosphere. Although this is beyond the villa management's control, initiating regular clean-up efforts in the surrounding areas or the alley leading to the villa could significantly improve its external aesthetic appeal, offering guests a more enjoyable arrival experience.
