It was beautiful and the service amazing. The only thing that would make us even happier would be a washing machine.

It was located in a street where cars can’t get to and even Gojek drivers found it hard to find the villa

The villa was beautiful and the host was very welcoming and helpful!

There were lizards in the villa, our host managed to get rid of one of the gecko’s but with the layout of the villa it’s really easy for lizards/insects to come in. There were too many ants in the villa, and they ate through our clothes and sealed groceries and food. We had to throw away a lot of food for leaving them on the counter (sealed) for a couple of hours. The location of the villa is okay, but it’s a little inconvenient to get to the main road as there are many many motorcycles driving through narrow roads along with you, making it really difficult to get through especially when it’s raining and with puddles everywhere. The mattress was hard and the bed frame was very creaky and loud. The shower runs out of hot water relatively quickly.

The location was a little further than i anticipated. Not as ideal for a solo female traveller to return home in the evenings.

The bed was quite hard and very uncomfortable - it made a lot of noise every time you moved.

I like all . Nice people , a beautiful villa and big . I had help if i need all time . At 2 days they clean all house, change towel and sheets . I had beutiful 6 days . Thanks you all for an amazing experience . I will come back here and recomand to my friends 🥹❤️ Ps: you can have restaurante at 2 min walk , masage , store , exchange , scooter for rent ,market❤️❤️❤️❤️

The villa is super clean and comfortable. The pool is the perfect temperature, we swam mornings, daytime, evening and it was always perfect temperature. Shower is big. Beds are comfy. Towels all smell so very fresh and fragrant. Location is not too far from Ubud by scooter and we like it as it’s tucked away. Walking from the villa there are plenty good cafes, restaurants, scooter rents, just everything close by. After a long day out and about we always look forward to coming back “home”. We could easily stay here a week and more. In fact we miss it already. Kadek who picked us up was also super great - we have some questions through our stay and he was always extremely helpful. We will come back in a heart beat.

Beautifully appointed rooms - with thoughtful amenities such as the water bottle with cold/boiling water, small grilling oven, information sheets about the local area. Staff were very considerate & were exemplary in cleaning the villa. Any photos as beautiful as they were still didn’t truely highlight how pretty Villa Genie is.
