Tranquil Nest Vaavu

wow! the name says it all - this was a tranquil nest ! it really felt that way while we were there. Such a treat to stay at a Maldives local island rather than all the trimmings of a resort. We really felt like we were the only ones there most of the time. The highlight was the boat trip - sunset fishing and afterwards the team cooking us fish on the BBQ. Acho and Ahmed were lovely to deal with and treated us very well. Thankyou so much and we will highly recommend this experience.

i got a little sea sick from the boat ride on the journey from Male, but I think it was just the weather as I was fine on the way back. Beds are a little hard (I agree with other reviews on that point).

The location is right on the beach. You can watch the sunrise and sunset from the same spot. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was amazing. The atmosphere is super chilled. There are so many places to chill with loungers, swings, cuddle sofas, tables and chairs. You can pick seating with or without cushions in the shade or the sun. Free drinking water. Free breakfast, including a packed breakfast to go on my last day. Collected and dropped off at the ferry. Laundry service. A/C Lovely clean beach.

My bed was hard and lumpy. They did provide me with an extra comforter and I slept on the quilt but I would suggest they replace the mattress. Breakfast was the same every day (apart from the fresh fruit). Could do with a bit of variation. If you pay by card there is a 4% fee on top. Food is served between given times which is plenty long enough but between end of lunch and evening meal times there isn't any service.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The staff is very kind and cheerful, always ready to meet any requests. I believe everyone should visit this island at least once in their life, and exclusively stay at this hotel. All compliments ❤️

Amazing Experience at Tranquil Nest Vaavu! Our stay at Tranquil Nest Vaavu was absolutely perfect! The most important thing to mention is that the hotel looks exactly like in the pictures, which is a rare find. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth, and the entire staff made us feel at home. Everyone was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring we had the best experience possible. A special shoutout to Acho, the manager, who is exceptionally kind and helpful. He took us on an unforgettable shark excursion, which was truly one of the highlights of our trip. His passion and care for guests make a huge difference! The food at Tranquil Nest Vaavu is delicious, with a great variety of options. My personal favorite was the chickpea curry, which is a must-try! Every meal was fresh and flavorful, adding to the overall amazing experience. Beyond that, the scenery is breathtaking, with stunning ocean views that make every moment feel like paradise. If you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy nature, and be treated like family, this is it! 100% recommended—worth every moment

They cancelled our confirmed booking when we just arrived in Maldives, leaving us with no accommodation for our long time prepared holiday.

The property was very clean. Access to amenities for swimming, snorkeling etc . Staff were friendly and accommodating. The meals prepared were fresh and tasty.

The architectural design was very nice. The rooms were perfectly sized too. Also really liked the industrial themed interior. It's located pretty much on the beach which is amazing. They provide free snorkelling gear (in good condition). I also like the long dinner table which is a great way to interact with and befriend other guests.

The bathroom wasn't super great. There were a lot of insects (small flies?) inside, and the showers weren't super great. And the sliding bathroom door doesn't properly seal so the bathroom odour seeps in. Please note that these were minor inconveniences without which our stay would've been perfect - we can't wait to back!

Perfect spot if you want to escape the busy resorts or crowded life in general haha
