Little Peepal House

Very good solution for backpackers in Udaipur, the location is very close to the City Palace. Both the room and the bathroom were as per the picture. Moreover, we really felt welcomed by Pappu who is the BEST host. Definitely recommend a stay here.

Parvat (the host) helped us with everything. He is such a kind person, always ready to solve all our problems and answer our questions. He didn't even charge us for dinner when one of us got sick, and he always offered his help. The location is central with many attractions at walking distance.

There's noise, but it's because the location is central. Nothing Parvat (the host) can control.

I loved everything about this hotel. The host was super warm and welcoming. The balcony was chilled out, amazing quick service for food, and fab view of the fort. It’s just at the edge of the fort, and in my opinion after also staying inside the fort, Little Prince’s location is better because it’s quieter and you have a fantastic view of the fort. It’s only a 5 minute walk to the entrance. Room was well-designed, hot showers any time of the day, cute window seats in our room. Fab!!!

Rooms quite a bit more expensive than usual because it’s public holiday, but that’s the same with every accomodation in Jaisalmer.

Perfect location in the old city, lovely bright room, comfortable bed and plenty of hot water - but what sets Little Peepal apart is Parvat and his family who welcome you in as part of it. When my partner was sick, Parvat's care was evident. He got a doctor in within the hour (who was great). We ate with the family one night, which was a delight. Breakfasts on the rooftop or in our room were also tasty. We made some extra requests and they were fulfilled. Parvat's father Prem drove us from Udaipur to Jodhpur in the most comfortable car we've been in in India! Parvat also runs walking tours through the "real Udaipur". This was absolute gold. Just don't hesitate, book in with Little Peepal!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The owner was incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel's location is ideal, with easy access to all the major attractions.

The host is amazing, and everything is under budget!!! Most of the places are nearby.

There could be a lift for the top floors, otherwise everything is awesome!!

Stay was nice ,comfortable and hygienic location was good . City palace and Jagdish temple , bagore ki haweli and ganguar ghar were at walking distance. The host was really friendly and helpful.

We had a great stay for 3 nights, super helpful host and staff, and a lovely dog too! Great value for money. Highly recommend 👌 👍

We stayed at this guesthouse for three nights, and it truly felt like home – I gained a brother in Pappu, and the entire experience felt like being part of a family. The guesthouse is impeccably clean, and the food is outstanding, freshly prepared by Pappu’s amazing mother. Pappu went above and beyond to take care of every detail for our onward journey, gave us a wonderful city tour of Udaipur, and shared a breathtaking sunset at Tiger Lake with us. One evening, we even cooked together, and he generously shared his culinary skills with me – a memory I’ll cherish forever. Both my father and I agree: in our seven weeks of traveling through Nepal and India, we have never felt so comfortable and well taken care of in any guesthouse. Pappu has a heart of gold, and I wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone visiting Udaipur. This is hands down the best guesthouse and service you’ll find in the city.
