Rainbow Guest House

Location is convenient, very central. Staff was very accommodating in terms of housekeeping, etc. Back yard is lovely.

Only minor things. Towel rack in bathroom is coming loose from the wall. Needs maintenance. Would be nice to have a shelf in the shower stall, so don't have to bend over to pick up soap. Wifi upstairs is too slow.

Inside the house was quiet because it was only myself and one other room that was booked. The parking was easy to use because I was the only one staying there that had a car. Easy to get to but would certainly not walk to town.

Wifi doesn’t work in the room I was in. No air conditioning nor a fan which means windows are open; which is great for the fresh air but not for the street lights in your eyes at night and the traffic/street noise. It has a consistent flow of traffic so with the windows open you'll want to bring an eye mask and ear plugs. It is on outskirts of town so plan on walking in to town if you don't rent a car. The room I was in (room 5) said it had a sea view but it is not really a sea view (even though if you squint you can see the ocean) it looks over a field; which is a pretty field with goats but it is not the sea. No soap or shampoo in the shower so plan on bringing your own or using the hand soap. No breakfast - despite what was posted in their reviews they did not offer breakfast. Not the end of the world as there are great bakeries around; however, just factor that in to your cost benefit analysis. Based on previous reviews, I was thinking a staffed guest house. If you change your expectations to a hostel with a private room then you'll be more in line with what you are receiving.

I felt like home. Very friendly hosts and great breakfast. The room was as expected and there was enough space to park my car.

Everything was great. Maybe a bit far from the city center in case you don't like walking

Sarah (the host) was super friendly and prepared every day warm breakfast for us and took care of all details in the room. Also the terrace when sunny days have an amazing view!

The water at the shower took very long to get warm, it's a pity not only for the time but also for the environment

We had a great stay at Rainbow Guest House. It's a very nice house with garden and BBQ. The breakfast was prepared by Sarah, she's absolutely amazing :) Thanks again for the nice stay!

We had a bit trouble to find the place at the beginning because in Google maps the location is not exact. It's two houses further. 10-15 minutes walk to the centre but with a car it's perfect, you can park in front of the house.
