Piddle Puddle Cabin

Excellent hosts, communication was great and helpful, friendly. The cabin is really nice, wanted for nothing and the bed is super comfy !!!

The TV is DVD only, That was ok but it would have been nice to have been able to put the TV on. I wonder if the host could place a free view aerial on the TV particularly for guests staying for a few days. The location is lovely, the garden is lovely however we brought our dog and felt that to have an enclosed area that is for the cabin only is a good idea. Currently the garden is used by the family to walk through to their property which was frequent during our stay meaning I had to be mindful of where the dog was each time I heard the gate open meaning it impacted on being able to fully relax. Driveway is shared with family. Again this is fine but despite advising of our arrival we still had to move our car to allow a family member's car to be moved to park elsewhere to make room. it just felt a bit chaotic at moments.

Sweet and cosy in a lovely part of Dorset. We loved all the animals, especially the Persian cat, who visited regularly and was very friendly. Lovely en-suite and a comfy bed.

The environment would be enhanced without the presence of the greenhouse immediately adjacent to the cabin, which is full of unsightly objects. It would’ve been helpful if the microwave doubled up as a convection oven, especially considering there’s also no hob. But cooking outside on the camping gas cooker was fine when it wasn’t raining.

Location was very good. Nearby pub in Tolpuddle - The Martyrs - was very good.

A minor disappointment was that the TV only played DVDs, but, despite this, we were very comfortable and enjoyed our 1-night stay there very much.

Amazing place to stay! Clean and quiet .. had a beautiful smell... like a log cabin in the alpine mountains:) The fire really makes this place so cosy. Very helpful and lovely couple.

Cosy and comfortable, with lots of attention to detail. Very dog-friendly, with a lovely garden and walks from the door.

We found it hard to find even with the directions- using “what three words” or having a little sign would be helpful.

Helen and Chris really made us feel at home and it's a lovely set up they have.
