Bridge Farm Caravan

No breakfast included and it was just a bed for the night but the amenities were there if we had needed them. I loved the little folder with details of the farming they do and facts about Buxton, although some items in it (events etc) did need updating.

Door was hard to close and there were a few flies but it was warm and we were on a farm so to be expected.

Super location and views. Comfortable beds, nice and snug on a chilly night. Two toilets was a bonus. Very well-planned space with lots in a little.

Clean and comfortable but a bit old fashioned. Disappointed to find no milk, no coffee, only 3 teabags and no soap anywhere. Door lock difficult and needs oiling.

The view was incredible. The 2 bathrooms were good, particularly the shower. The host (Stacey) was very friendly and helpful.

The bad smell from the caravan's septic tank vent which was very close to the door of the van (this was definitely not a farm smell).

Space, comfortable lounge, kitchen facilities

There were teabags in the kitchen when I arrived but no milk, not even milk pots, so had to go out shopping for milk. My experience is most hosts make milk of some sort available. Not much cost but appreciated by the guest.

Lovely views and convenient location. Hot water. Great information about the working farm and places to visit.

The caravan is very run down, dated and needs a deep clean. Dusty worktops and sills, mould in bathroom with dirty flooring and not very clean toilets. Dead flies and peanuts on the carpet and toilet flooring. Heating not working. Mattresses sucken therefore uncomfortable. Looked like the single beds hadn't been changed, covers creased and debris in beds. In my opinion, low standards and not value for money.

We had an absolutely lovely stay at this beautiful location! The views were breathtaking, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making for a restful and peaceful stay. One of the highlights was being on a working farm, where we were delighted to see new lambs appearing by the hour – such a special experience! The check-in process was smooth and easy, and we felt so welcomed by the hosts. Despite being in the middle of lambing season, they were kind, friendly, and made time to chat with us, which we really appreciated. I also want to mention how thoughtful the hosts were. After I left some of my belongings behind, they kindly offered to post them back to me, which was a huge help and much appreciated. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay – wonderful accommodations, amazing views, and hosts who go above and beyond. Highly recommend!

On the edge of Buxton so convenient for visiting town, but not far from A road which was noisy at times.
