Cozy Downtown Oasis

There were cockroaches in the apartment, the kitchen equipments are so used and dirty that it was unusable and nothing like in the pictures. The sponge was very dirty. The dishes were stained. The microwave didn’t work. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly and was old. At my arrival, hot water wasn’t plugged i had to do it myself.

The property is quite close to the city centre, and a 10 minute walk to the nearest metro station. The A/C was old and a little noisy, but worked perfectly otherwise. There was plenty of storage space - a large, clean dresser and some more drawers under the TV stand. There were a microwave and a kettle, as well as coffee, tea, and sugar.

A large cockroach made its way in on our last night at the property. We packed up and left right away. Don't expect much help from Booking.com if this happens to you. The host tried to throw the blame on us for the cockroach. When we wrote to the host about the cockroach, they ignored our message until Booking.com got in touch with them and forced them to answer. We saw two more outside the property, in the staircase. We also think cockroaches might've come in on the other nights, though we hadn't been awake to see them. Although advertised as soundproof, the neighbours were easy to hear - we had to sit through nightly loud discussions, cheering, and music starting precisely at 11PM and going well past midnight. The shower drain was likely clogged - the water drained very slowly, and we ended up sloshing around in the water that had pooled into the shower area within minutes. There's also no drain anywhere else in the bathroom, so any water that makes its way out of the shower ends up pooling on the floor until it dries off. We were given two towels for a 2-person, 4-night stay. Same for the bedding - there was one smallish duvet (though plenty of comfortable pillows). The bedsheet had at least a couple of noticeable (over 2cm in diameter) holes in it. There are a grand total of two power sockets - one in the kitchen, and one behind a nightstand. They're both really wobbly. There's one tiny bin under the sink and no additional bin bags. There were two mugs accompanying a single glass. They had no handsoap or toothpaste in the bathroom - we resorted to buying our own (had to use dishwashing detergent to wash our hands when we arrived).

Nice studio

Lovely inside, big bed, equipped kitchen. Its the same like on the pictures. It was 10-15 minutes from the main road, buses. There is a shopping mall nearby, with lots of places to eat and shop. Also a 24/7 carrefour, so anytime you arrive, its available to buy some things.

Although the area and the house from the outside looked a little bit old, somehow scary, the inside was modern, clean, just like on the pictures.
