Ecolodge Cave House

The home-cooked restaurant and mini food market are around the corner. The bus stop to Fera (from there also bus to Oia) is about 10 minutes walking from the property. You can see a donkey from the property, too.

I recently spent a weekend in Santorini with my partner, and our stay at this property truly elevated the experience. From start to finish, everything felt thoughtfully managed, but what stood out most was how exceptionally well-maintained and clean the room was. The location was absolutely amazing. Perfectly positioned to enjoy the beauty of Santorini without being overwhelmed by the crowds, it offered easy access to everything we wanted to explore. Another highlight of our stay was the host. He was incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. He took the time to explain the best areas to explore and recommended authentic local spots. What we especially appreciated was his help in organizing a sailing cruise.

Everything was great

The location and house were nice overall, and the owner was very polite and helpful, arranging shared taxis from the airport and to the port. There are lots of cats in the area for cat lovers! However, the experience could have been much better with more attention.

The house was very humid, which made it difficult to sleep comfortably. The bathroom fan was loud and could not be turned off. Additionally, there was no barbecue as shown in the photos, and despite asking the owner, we never received a response. The pool was not clean, the bathroom trash was not emptied daily, and there were no replacement bags provided, which was inconvenient given that toilet paper cannot be flushed.

The house is very comfortable for 4 persons!each bedroom has a seperate bathroom!this is very helpful!the communication with the host was very easy!he met us for the check in and gave many tips to explore the island!higly recommend
