Ribeira Douro Hotel

I had an excellent stay at Ribeira Douro Hotel. The location is fantastic, less than a block from the river and the main promenade, making it very easy to explore Porto’s beautiful Ribeira area on foot. The staff was wonderful and very welcoming; we were greeted with a glass of port wine, which was such a lovely touch. The rooms are modern and comfortable, despite the hotel’s simple exterior. I’m sure there are rooms with a view, although mine faced an internal open area rather than the river. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and quality. One thing to note is that cars are not allowed to enter the hotel’s street, but you can be dropped off very close by, and it’s less than half a block to walk. Overall, a wonderful stay, and I would happily recommend it.

Nettes kleines Hotel in sehr guter und ruhiger Lage in Flussnähe im Stadtteil Ribeira. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Tolles Frühstück bis 10:30 Uhr.

Zimmer zum kleinen Hof zwar ruhig aber etwas dunkel und klein. Für Kurzaufenthalt aber ok.

The rooms, breakfasts, the coffee machine & water available 24 hrs, location and the staff.

In room 102- could hear the people above me who came in at 12:45 am and were up until 1:30 am disrupting my sleep

The location was perfect very close to the river front but at night you couldn't hear anything. The hotel room was spotless and the breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. The staff are extremely attentive and made the stay perfect.

Nothing everything was great

Location near river . The bus stop for on/off bus was just a half block away.

Storage space was completely inadequate.

Amazing location, 20m from the waterfront with direct access to fantastic local bars and restaurants. The rooms were spacious enough for 2 people and exceptionally clean with daily room service. The staff were very friendly and so helpful with any advice and tips. The breakfasts were particularly good - the best we’ve tasted!
