Pratama Guest House

Small quiet rare to find guesthouse. All guests were considerate and quiet and it was peaceful in the evening (not much left of this vibe around Canggu or Pererenan so I loved it! There is some constructions going on all over but I never heard the noise of it. It's in a super convenient location and one can even walk to next door restos and cafes in case you don't feel like hopping on a bike. Very clean, spacious room and bathroom. Amenities were provided. Bed was comfortable. Kitchen was well kept.

I kept waking up at night because of the wind from the AC. It did not have the "quiet" option where it is still wroking without its fan blowing. The options were just AUTO and then the fan options. No "quiet" mode. It's a pity because everything else was perfect.

Rooms are big.

There was nobody working in the hotel, there is no reception. When we got there, othera guests helped us find our room. The kitchen was VERY dirty. One of the guests had a dog that kept barking the whole time (day and night)

The room was big and spacious for children. The decor and furniture were stunning with wooden and cane and rattan furniture. The bed was comfortable and clean. The pool was clean and big enough. The price paid was reasonable. The people / guest there were super lovely. The owner was reasonably happy to refund.

We arrived around 10-11pm. Due to traffic from Airport. It was very dark ( no light outside ). We could have fallen into the pool it was just outside the gate ( entrance ) . We bathroom was very dirty so I had to clean for my child . We slept . Woke up and the grass was so long that it was attracting insects. The kitchen needed mosquitoes repellent. I wanted to make coffee and toast and eggs but insects everywhere couldn’t feed my child.

Bed and place was comfortable, pool so nice and kitchen has everything you need. Staff were helpful too. Location is close enough to places that are a little walk to but at night I don’t suggest walking as it is dark and doesn’t feel very safe. You’re better to get a grab.

Honestly we had a fair few issues in the beginning of our stay. 20 minutes in to getting there the whole power went out on the street so we couldn’t really set up anything. The shower was flooding and aircon wouldn’t turn off so we both got sore throats and were freezing but they eventually fixed the shower and the whole place smelt of sewage and they had to come back again to fix it and then it was fine.
