Quiet location but not too far from Taunton. Clean, comfortable room with friendly staff.

Needed a desk/table to do some work but improvised.

Food was amazing and staff were friendly

Lovely old style pub great location for the purpose of out stay and had a lovely beer garden although we didn’t eat there the food did smell lovely and look good

We appreciate it’s an old pub which didn’t mind we stayed on a very warm July day and the room was so hot and the there was no fan provided in our room which would of made it a bit more comfortable to sleep also there was only one pillow each and not a great quality one at that the same with the bedding didn’t feel great quality at all little touches that can help and enhance the quality of good nights sleep

Breakfast was not part of the deal. I knew it was not available when confirming the booking.However, the Thai food for dinner was excellent and reasonably priced.

Separate loo & bathroom. Not en-suite.

Location to Railway Station, excellent Beer Garden, great food
