Modern Travis House

The cleanliness was of a very high standard , the beds were very comfortable. Nice private yard at the rear. Located in a quiet road with shops and mosque within walking distance.

Had obviously been freshly painted a day or two before our stay as the paint fumes were still quite noticeable in the bedrooms. This didn't however take away from the overall experience. Would definitely stop again.

The house was clean and well looked after. Everything that our family of 5 needed was provided. Toilet rolls, towels, shower gel, shampoo, dishwashing liquid, even contact lense liquid was there. The power sockets have USB slots very useful if you dont have charging plugs, only cable. The beds are clean, soft, new. The kitchen had all utensils. The TV has all smart apps and wifi was seamless. We had a great stay at this place at a fair price. Will come back for sure if we travel this way.

1. The sofa could use a change as it is very small. Max 3 people can fit. 2. Some tiles were cracked in hallway. 3. The staircase is veeeery steep, so if a family member has vertigo, impadiment or any fear of stairs, it’s probably difficult to go up/down 4. The tiles in the bathroom floor become super slippery if wet as they have the shiney finish. Be careful! 5. Dowstairs carpets need an antislip under them 6. Back of the property is basically nothing. An empty concrete patio with other building windows as view. No privacy. But none of these effected us and were minor inconveniencies.

Great place for a short break! The cottage was very clean, well equipped and cosy - perfect for relaxing after the launch. The owner was very helpful and answered all questions quickly. We only spent 2 nights here but would happily return for longer. Highly recommend!”
