GBExcellent location which I needed for visiting Shepton Mallet Hospital, just 20 min walk. Easy free parking, room basic & a bit tired but spotlessly clean & a comfortable bed. Good home cooking, breakfast included, lunch & dinner available at reasonable prices. Lounge, bar & garden to relax in. Small family hotel with friendly, helpful & flexible staff.
Nothing really. Paid the same for one person as for a couple but that's normal. A chair would have been nice in the room, although would have been a tight fit.
GBGreat place to stay, Lovely friendly staff who really cared. Central to where we needed to be, also a great stop off point travelling either further north, or south.. Great food, lovely comfy bed..

ESGBGreat location. Fantastic breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed with a selection of pillows. Good variety of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in the room. Really quiet, had a great night’s sleep. Staff were fantastic. We were starving on arrival and ordered sandwiches, these were freshly made and delivered to our room, delicious!
If I’m being picky I couldn’t get the shower head to sit exactly where I wanted it. But it wasn’t a problem.

Nothing about the property that me and my partner disliked. We had to cut our trip short because I came down with food poisoning from our day trip
GBI absolutely loved this gem of a place. It is so quirky and full of charm. The owner is amazing. Debbie is friendly and goes the extra mile to make sure your stay is great. I had an evening meal which was tasty and the beef burger was homemade. Delicious. There's a good choice of breakfast as well. I had smoked salmon with scrambled egg one morning and a full English breakfast the next. Both delicious and nothing was too much trouble for Debbie. Thank you for looking after me and I will definitely stay here again if I return to Shepton Mallet.
