We only had one bedside table lamp. As we both read in bed it would have been nice to have had another one. Perhaps somebody took it as there were 2 last year.
GBClean, welcoming, basic amenities in the room but absolutely adequate. Restaurant on site, bar on site, breakfast available - overall absolutely fine! Very friendly staff, onsite parking :)
Bit chilly in the middle of the night, the cold woke me up, extra blanket provided but it was still too chilly with the single pane windows so struggled to sleep due to that - perhaps in the winter the heating will be switched on during the night, we are only in autumn. For the price I think breakfast should be included.

GBGBGBParking was conveniently right outside and was greeted warmly and checked in efficiently. Lovely biscuits and posh hot chocolate in our room which my son loved. Comfortable and warm room. Perfect location to walk into town or the prison, which we were there to visit. Quiet location so had a great sleep and the huge cooked breakfast was served by friendly staff, very tasty and great value. All in all it was perfect for us.
