GBDebbie, the owner is an amazing lady. Always available and so friendly & helpful. The food was simple fayre but done very well with good quality ingredients. Our bed was very comfortable and the whole place is very clean.
The place is a little tired but the evidence of a steady, progressive restoration is clear to see.

GBExcellent location in the centre of town with on site parking. Close to a couple of good restaurants and a decent wine bar. The hotel is simple and practical. It is not a boutique type hotel nor is it like a major chain hotel. It is unique and quirky in a good way.

The hotel is very run down and needs a lot of work in general. Especially taking out the carpet in the bathroom. But saying that the room was clean and tidy.
GBGood location for town centre, friendly staff and free car parking. Comfy bed and room was light and airy. Lunch was tasty, with large portions and it was hot and freshly made. Breakfast was included and that too was tasty and hot with a selection of cereals and juices to start. Quick service.
Room could do with a towel rail and a luggage stand. Blinds need to be darker for sleepers who don’t like bright light in the summer early hours. Carpeted toilet area will make cleaning trickier.
