Harrogate Self Catering - The Valley Gardens View

The property is very clean and spacious. It is in a good location and within easy reach of the main town centre on foot. The bed was really comfortable and the bathrooms were immaculate. Couple of points: - The bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs in the basement so if anyone has accessibility issues, the staircase going down may not be ideal. - The third bathroom is a cloaks which is located just as you enter the property. I would definitely stay here again if I was coming back to Harrogate. Lydia was a great host and checked on us when we arrived and before we left. She also provided a lovely welcome box.

Everything was fine in the property. I’m a very cold person so I found it a little bit chilly in the bedroom in the basement. However, I suggested to the host that she could provide extra blankets for colder evenings.

We had a great stay in this lovely, clean property but the biggest grumble was not having a top opening window in the front bedroom which would have made it safe to open for ventilation during the night. There’s two fire escape windows which are great to get out of but that also makes them easy to get into as well so not safe to open at night. Whenever we’ve stayed in properties that cost a similar amount, we’ve always arrived to a lovely welcome pack with a few nibbley bits in to see you through until you get to the shops after a long drive.

Spacious, very clean, comfortable beds, extremely well equipped kitchen and other rooms as well. Large TV , dvds provided including a variety of games and maps. Carpets looked new and bathrooms if they had recently been put in.

Really nothing. None of us ladies would hesitate to stay here again.

Everything really comfortable! Bedding great quality Nice to have a great coffee machine and pods!

Sky TV would have been good but you can’t have everything! We are tennis fans so had to watch the US open final on our phones, not a big deal though

Perfect location, short walk into Harrogate centre and beautiful Park across the road, fabulous deli round the corner. Clean comfortable spacious accommodation, great response from host. Everything you need is provided from towels to coffee pods to dishwasher tablets. Good parking outside (we had 3 cars). Great long weekend stay.

Gorgeous apartment in a great location.

Beautifully furnished, the beds were big, very comfortable mattresses and pillows, great quality bedding, big soft towels, little touches such as vanity kits, a lovely welcome hamper and helpful host. Fantastic location and lots of free parking. Peaceful, quiet and waking distance to town centre. Conveniently located next to Valley gardens and cold bath road, restaurants and cafes within easy reach. Pet friendly too!

Dishwasher didn’t work on our visit. But only a minor inconvenience and temporary.
