Richmond Hotel Nagoya Shinkansen-guchi

We enjoyed our stay at the Richmond. We had adjoining rooms for 3 family members for 3 nights. I liked having good free coffee/tea and juice on the 1st floor. Amenities were good. There was even a water station by the elevator.

The only difficult part was walking to and from Nagoya,station under strong rain.

This hotel has a good location near Nagoya station and several shopping mall. There are also many Japanses cuisines and restaurants, and they are all delicious.

Very helpful staff (especially the female front desk staff who assisted me with my baggage forwarding service in the morning of June 24); have drip bag coffee (100% washed Arabica); lighting is bright enough

I don't like the fact that the cleaning option can only be done using TV. I found it contradictory with the idea of eco-friendly practice. The only time I used the TV was to choose the cleaning option of the day, which actually wasted electricity and my time. In other hotels that I stayed before, I can choose the cleaning option at the time that I checked in, if there is no label or magnet to be placed on the door.

窓開けたら隣の建物の室外機しか見えなかった

荷物もいつでも預かってもらえ、フロント前を通ると声をかけてくださる。そしてびっくりしたのが朝食。セントラルキッチンみたいになっており、天むすも目の前で作ってくれる。うなぎご飯も目の前で。フォーも作ってくれてた。うなぎめちゃくちゃ美味しかった。そして名古屋名物のご飯がたくさん揃ってる。味噌カツも手羽先もあった。どれも美味しかったし、おにぎり作ってくれたスタッフの方もとても笑顔で接しやすい感じの良い方で朝から気分が良かったです。他のスタッフの方々もとても親切で。カップに入れてコーヒー部屋まで持って帰れました。ブュッフェリニューアルしたって書いてあったが、とっても良かった！！ 部屋のシャワーも完璧でした。綺麗だし、泊まる分にはとっても満足でした。
