The house was clean, spotless actually

We came at night. There was not any signage to help direct you down narrow streets. The only description of the fence was that it was white. It made it tricky to find.

Spacious and well equipped, nice bathrooms. Beautiful garden.

Mold on some of the walls, very intense damp/moldy smell. Hair on towels and in the shower from previous visitors. Beds and pillows not very comfy. Lots of bugs.

Excellent atmosphere, spacious, private parking, great communication with the staff, breakfast service offered for reasonable extra price.

There is full equipment of the kitchen, however, absolutely no "general" food, such as sugar, salt, oil. If you stay for just couple of nights, it doesn't make sense to buy all this stuff. Thus, use of the kitchen is more or less theoretical only.

The property was beautiful, especially the gardens. Living room area very comfortable, kitchen well equipped. Bed and bathroom comfortable. This building with perhaps five units seems quite new and aesthetically designed. It would be a great place to live!

In spite of excellent design, the unit lacks adequate ventilation. No exhaust fans. The space smelled very musty when we arrived. Since there are no screens, and open windows limit privacy, it seems like an unfortunate construction flaw. Perhaps constant use of air conditioning would improve the atmosphere but it was too cold during our stay to resort to that. This would not prevent me from recommending the place highly. It's a ten minute drive from Ponta Delgada with no turns in the direction of Capelas. A great base for visiting the entire island. And a wonderful retreat with the wonderful gardens.

The villa is part of a lovely complex with a beautiful garden and plenty of parking. Inside, it feels like a stylish Ikea showroom — modern, minimalist, and well put together. Both bedrooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are large and well-stocked with towels, bathrobes, and slippers. The kitchen is equipped for preparing simple meals.

The villa entrance is a bit tricky to find and could benefit from clearer signage. The house has been nicely renovated, though there are still some humidity issues. We found stains on the mattress cover and hairs on the bedsheets in the double bed (two singles pushed together with undersized bedding), so we used the other room. We emailed about it but didn’t get a reply — instead, someone entered while we were out and changed the sheets, but didn’t replace the stained cover. Some blankets and cushions also looked in need of cleaning. The house is attached to another with a thin connecting door, so we could hear neighbors clearly. The glass front door has no curtain, which impacted privacy — a film would help. No shampoo or body wash was provided, and the shower water wasn't hot, as others have noted. The kitchen also lacked basics like oil, salt, and sugar.

We loved the accommodation, gardens were lovely, modern appliances.

Didn't like the gate access, quite tight and would be awkward for a single driver, the lack of kitchen utensils and supplies. The bedding was too small for the bed, so requested another duvet, which was provided. No hot tub, just a 2 person bath, we chose this villa for the outdoor hot tub experience.Our main dislike was the privacy, in the daytime it's fine. At night anyone can see inside when you have the lights on, especially the toilet/bathroom even with the blinds closed as shown in the picture. We had the upstairs villa named Jasmine.

The place is clean, modern and beautiful. Beds are comfy. Providing robes and slippers was a nice extra step. There's a spacious garden that that's great to enjoy in the sun. You can even see ocean from there. I'd highly recommend and would go back!

Small amenities would be highly appreciated and make stay even more convenient, like a pack of salt and sugar. The apartments are connected by thin locked doors, so you can easily hear your neighbors. It wasn't an issue for us, but it could be for some more sensitive people.
