Very old decor

The facilities were modern, well equiped and clean with consistent hot showers and good water pressure. The beds and decor are comfortable and tasteful. The rooms I stayed in had Aircon and also safes to place items in them or you can leave items / bags with staff behind the counter. The staff were very friendly and pleasant to deal with. They were more that happy to help with any request from a guest. They have a buffet breakfast if you feel like it and provide courtesy transport to the airport when leaving. The place is very safe and secure with a doorman at the front 24/7. They can also provide assistance when planning activities and the hotel always has someone at reception night and day. Located in a good part of Thamel for tourists to explore, shop or eat.

Some rooms, don't have a bar fridge, but its not a deal breaker and I think this will change over time.

There is construction going on across the road which was going on nearly 24/7 which would impact a light sleeper

The hotel is located off from the main tourist streets, so it was relatively quiet. However, there was a construction site next to the hotel, and on the first night I could not sleep because the work continued from midnight until 5 a.m. I informed the manager, Mr. Rabin, who was also surprised since regulations require construction to stop by 9 p.m. He kindly raised the issue with the local authorities and also moved me to a larger, quieter room on the other side of the hotel. The staff were very helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast buffet was satisfying, especially the coffee.
