CAIt is 45 minutes from Cao Bang city. Have no scooters for rent so once the bus dropped me over there, I had to take a taxi back. I reached the hotel at 17h and they told me I checked in too late, they had no more room for me. Did not offer to help me in any way to find another place to stay.

!!! Directions are very wrong!!! The directions in booking.com are about 7-8 km off. To get here search for thais HomeStay on google maps and it will take you to the right place. Do not go to Hoang Thai homestay on Apple Maps. We spent about an hour trying to find the place. Also, We booked a triple room with mountain view and private bathroom. When we arrived we were told that all the rooms are doubles with no windows and shared bathroom
