Croft House Retreat

A quiet location, well suited for our autistic daughter, decent sized rooms, the en suite was as we put our daughter in that room, a nice decently equipped kitchen

The decor was in poor condition, it really was needing re decorated, the floors in were in a bad condition, with some possible trip hazards near the sink, all in all the whole house needs upgraded

Liked the Isle of Lewis. We had a problem and it was dealt with promptly.

The living space was far too small for 8 people. This house is more suited for 5 and 6 at a stretch. The bedrooms were a fairly good size. The whole house needs attention, especially the bathrooms. The fridge door did not close properly so it tended to freeze up. The outside area was really untidy.

The host Donald turning up at near midnight to settle us into the property after the ferry had been delayed. The responsiveness of the host in the messages. The space to comfortably fit 3 separate groups in their own privacy was great. Each room also had its own tv. There were 3 bathrooms , again giving each family group their own. Every kitchen utensil was supplied. No lack of hot water and the whole house was always pleasantly warm.

There was nothing that I can pick on, the property was fantastic.

It was close to the sites we wanted to visit

Difficult set up in the living room - has a large table and chairs between the lounge and TV. It was difficult;lt to know where to park the car - there was work being done on the site next to the house and the farmer opposite needed access to turn a trailer etc.

Well equipped kitchen. Beds were fine. Lots of space/bedrooms.

The location was perfect as we had daily tours around the Island. The owner was very friendly and welcoming.
