Das beschriebene WLAN war nicht vorhanden. Der Duschschlauch war beschädigt, so dass nur mit großem Aufwand und Umständen geduscht werden konnte. Enttäuschend war, dass sich die Besitzer trotz mehrerer Mails und Anrufe nicht gemeldet haben. Unter diesen Umständen ist die Wohnung nicht zu empfehlen.

AVOID THIS PROPERTY AND THIS HOST OWNER!!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE WE EVER HAD !!! THE MOST DISGUSTING AND DIRTY PLACE WE EVER BEEN !!! We would like to share our bed experiences with this property in Edinburgh, Scotland. The whole house was extremely dirty and disgusting, dust and dirtiness everywhere and the owner just pretended he didn’t know about the condition of the house. We were company of 7 people- 3 adults and 4 kids, we should live 5 days in this condition. If you ever go to Edinburgh please avoid this horrible owner and his disgusting house with address 233 Lasswade Road EH16 6QT. AVOID!!!

We had a terrible experience, however there were a few good things. The beds were comfortable, the house is a good size for families, and the bus stop is right in front of the house.

Oh where to begin... first I gave the property manager plenty of time to address these issues before I left a review and received NO RESPONSE. Communication during our stay was awful and we felt like we were begging them to help us and were simply ignored or receiving short useless answers. So I have listed our main issues: A) A cot was requested ahead of arrival however it was not ready when we got to the house. I called the manager and no information was provided about this over the phone apart from the suggestion of us searching everywhere for it, including to 'break the lock' on the upstairs cupboard (which I refused to do). We were able to find the very dusty cot eventually but had to improvise a mattress as there was none by using towels, a slim pillow and bedding. This is also an issue for unsafe sleeping for a baby so you can imagine how little I slept keeping an eye on my baby. B) Excessive dust everywhere, especially windows and blinds. There were also no cleaning products or wipes available so we could clean it ourselves. C) No highchair, despite this being advertised on booking. I enquired multiple times about the highchair and received no response. This also meant that meal times were very difficult and added stress to our holiday - I would have brought my own highchair if I knew there wasn't one available. D) Despite advertised as having full accessibility the entrance has some very difficult steps that made it difficult to go up and down with a pram, so I can only imagine the difficulty someone in a wheelchair would have. E) the iron had an Indian plug (???) and no adaptor - we live in the UK so had no expectation to need a plug adaptor. We had to buy an iron to use because of this. F) The entrance to the property was very untidy with the front hedge invading the gate passage and the bins were overflowing with rubbish everywhere.
