Posizione fantastica, immerso nella natura, ma a 10min di macchina dal centro di Perugia. Colazione tutta fatta in casa, veramente ottima! I proprietari Myriam e Andrea due persone splendide, discrete, per nulla invadenti, ma da scoprire, se avete voglia di mettervi a chiacchierare con loro. Una splendida scoperta! Vera immersione in natura. Nelle camere e negli spazi comuni è pieno di libri per tutte le età e gusto a disposizione degli ospiti, molto apprezzato!

Home cooked food was fabulous, and our hosts were very welcoming. We had a home cooked dinner and wine which cost more but it was worth it. Miriam is a great chef. The property was remote and there was no signage due to local regulations and so it was initially difficult to find.

We had large suitcases as we were travelling Italy for 5 weeks and access wasn't easy, but our hosts helped us.

Unfortunately, I did not get to see what there is to like. See below.

EDIT: Since making comments below I've found that Booking.com's Customer Care amounts to nothing apart from disinterest. They do not respond when promised; the third agent I spoke to said they would call me back and didn't. The owner would not consider a refund. They did not even have the courtesy to apologise for the lateness in sending me instructions; made no allowance for any misunderstanding resulting from crossed messages or offer more help; made no response to the stressful experience I had with my car, (which is thankfully OK) and did not respond when I wrote that I had not received the photo of the turn-off. They stopped responding completely. The fact that I did not telephone at the time. relying on messages, does not alter the fact that people are not forewarned about the state of the unmade road, unsuitable for all cars. Google maps won't reveal this, only by reading all reviews. Original comments: Without a 4-wheel drive, the unmade road is difficult, especially getting back up. At the top it is steep, rutted and with loose gravel. The turn-off is easy to miss, with no sign for the agriturismo. There is no sign at the bottom either and you have to walk the last part. As a same-day booking it would have helped to receive the necessary instructions how to find them as soon as I had paid - not one minute after my estimated arrival time. We arrived about 15 minutes early, unaware of any difficulties and had an unfortunate communication breakdown with the owner. The unnerving experience getting back up the dirt track, scraping the underside of the car, not knowing if we were in the right place led to us to giving up. It’s a pity things went wrong; this is the first time ever I have abandoned a booking already paid for. I see others have commented on the access difficulties, the unrepaired holes and lack of signs so would be good if these things are addressed. Also to correct the published info - it is 9km from Perugia centre not 2.9km.

Breakfast was all home made and delicious. Hosts made us feel so at home and welcome.

There was nothing I didn’t like. It far exceeded our expectations.

We stayed at the agriturismo for one night. As we are aspiring farmers and fans of a calm and simple life, surrounded by nature and animals, it was perfect to us. The lovers of luxury and city vibes would however not enjoy it. We came back from Perugia after dinner and still spent a couple of hours talking with Miriam and Andrea and it was a pleasure. The next day after breakfast with pastries made by Miriam, Andrea gave us a little tour showing us around the farm and introducing us to their two beautiful horses. If we are in Umbria again, we’ll definitely come back!
