Villa Nook

The staff's friendliness and responsiveness were by far the highlight of this villa. Everything else was unfortunately pretty disappointing especially for the price. I've stayed in countless properties in Seminyak, and would definitely not come back here.

First, there was a major construction site RIGHT next to the property, with noise throughout the day and a general feeling of lack of privacy. Even though they'd put up a massive screen to keep the workers from looking into the pool/living space, a) it blocked the sun from the pool and the pool was in the shade at all hours of the day and 2) it didn't stop the construction workers for being too friendly with me, a solo female traveler. I booked this place for the outdoor living area, as the bedroom looked quite small. However, I couldn't stay outside for the first two days as I was getting completely eaten alive by the thousands of mosquitoes that were present. I complained once, but it wasn't dealt with. I complained again, they blamed the construction site, then came in and treated for mosquitoes. I believe it was the greenery around the pool that was the issue, not the construction site. They need to treat for mosquitoes, much more regularly without guests having to ask. The room was minuscule, and it was hard to open my suitcase or walk around the bed (and I'm a tiny person). All furniture was incredibly cheap/basic. All of these issues wouldn't have really bothered me, had it not been for the price of the place. Absolute rip-off for what was provided. I can't believe they have the audadicty to charge so much for a basic, tiny, mosquito-infested space where you hear construction noise all day, and the pool doesn't even get any sun! PS, it's on a very narrow alley, which is hard for drivers. Walking directions from the main shopping street will also lead you to a dead end. Not the most logistically easy place as well. PPS, I feel bad for leaving this review, especially because the staff was so kind, and honestly, I rarely leave bad reviews. But to the owner - reduce your rates, inform people about construction, and treat for mosquitoes! Please!!!

Great location to restaurants, bars, massages etc. Located in quite lane without traffic noise. Great pool and relaxing area. Clean and tidy bathroom.

Villaen har slt man trenger og ligger veldig sentralt. Liten sidegate fra hovedgaten så det er i rolige omgivelser. Uteområdet er supert, spesielt bassenget.

The location was great. The villa was within walking distance of a lot of great restaurants, shops and the beach. Benny was very accomodating and extremely friendly and the pool was lovely when we just wanted to relax.

Locations was so close to great restaurants and cafes and the beach but removed enough to feel tranquil at the accomodation. The villa itself is beautiful and well kept, Benny and the staff are clear communicators, respectful of privacy and overall do a fantastic job.

Our only minor complaint would be the firmness of the bed, apart from this our stay was awesome

The property was exactly what I was after as a solo traveller wanting to relax by the pool in the sun. Close enough to walk to most places, but far away enough from the hustle and bustle. Some part of the pool area is in the sun most parts of the day, just have to move around a bit to get it.

Drivers found it hard to find but I think that’s just cause it’s new. Also there’s not heaps of spare space in the bedroom if 2 people were to have suitcases. There’s wardrobes to unpack though.
