GBGreat location, next to a decent pub and close to the action. Room 2 is a large family room so was huge to me staying on my own. Warm and cosy with a decent sized double bed. Decent size TV and the wifi works well so good for casting from your phone. Mel is super friendly. You would want an en suite for that price but the shower/toilet room is right next door and there's at least one other bathroom on the floor. Shower is ok. Breakfast is excellent and the bread is warm and really nice. Fruit juice, cheeses and jams and marmite and a selection of cereals on top of the full English if you want it. You are yards from a decent Indian restaurant and the Mai Thai is also a decent option. Alderney is gorgeous and you can comfortably walk all around it in two days unless you're mad and do it in one, also possible. I walked from the airport to the B&B in a matter of minutes. If you're worried about being invaded do not worry as Alderney has to be the most heavily fortified place I've ever seen with defensive installations every few hundred yards and giant forts every mile or so around the coast. Most are open for exploration and signs explain it all for the visitor. No wildlife boats over Easter but you can watch the gannets easily from the cliff opposite their island (and apparently the wildlife centre might lend you binoculars). Dolphins often seen apparently. Recommend this B&B and the island of Alderney 1000%.
Wardrobe is falling apart and needs a few nails. Leaving windows open leads to a lot of slamming doors during the day (but not at night). Some noise from the pub but not too late at night.
