Valchid Guest House

It was better than we were expecting. It is like a fairy-tail!!! Super beautiful and clean and surrounded by nature. Franco it’s the best host you can have!:)

We were there for only one night, but will for sure come back. The spirit of the place is rustic with a special attention to detail. Franco was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. He made the arrangements with the local gastronomic point for our dinner and walked us there and introduced everyone. The village is pitoresque and quiet. The garden at the property is wide and very well cared for.

Everything was perfect for us

We loved everything here! Franco and Toto are great hosts, ready to answer any question, well prepared with information about Valchid&its region. The rooms and garden are pleasant, optimal for both remote work and relaxing. Order the food! The neighbours cook delicious traditional meals, and beware, the portions are huge! Have a chat next to a glass of “house wine” with Franco, and enjoy the very vibrant atmosphere of Valchid. We will definitely come back!

The property and host did not do anything wrong, it was just the neighbors that listened some tacky music too loud for too many hours. We did not relax as we planned due to the noise, unfortunately. I appreciate Franco’s patience to sort this out and what he has done there.
