Garden Villa Chania

We liked everything! The family greeted us upon arrival and cooked a delicious meal for us from their own garden. They walked us through the property and provided information to make our stay comfortable. The Villa was beautiful and modern. We were able to cook some nice dinners after spending the day visiting parts of the island. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We rented a car so it was easy to get around. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were all great. We enjoyed the pool for evening swims. On the evening before our departure, the family came over to give us a homemade dessert of orange cake which was thoughtful. We would have loved to stay longer! Thanks to the whole family for welcoming us into their home and we would recommend this villa to anyone!

If I had to say anything at all, and I think this is very minor, but the communication upon arrival could have been better. The family were so welcoming, we would love to return for another visit!

It was such an amazing place to stay at: -It was a bit out of the city so it was really quiet (except a bit of barking and rooster crowing). —It was so clean when we got there -the hosts had made us dinner when we arrived which was so nice because it was almost 22 when we got there and we were hungry. Some days later she came with ice cream for us, so nice of her!! -we enjoyed having a sun bed and they were nice to lay on -the refrigerator had ice cubes and water so it was nice and easy to get a cold drink -the pool was amazing, we had between 30-40 degrees everyday and the pool wasn’t cold at all, it was nice to go in after sunbathing -the air conditioning was working and really helped when it got too warm -washing machine was easy to navigate and the same with the dryer -there were shampoo in the showers so you didn’t need to bring your own -the kitchen had a lot of stuff for cooking and dining -the internet was great Heads up: -it was a bit outside of the city and the nearest store was like 10-15 minutes away on foot so maybe rent a car if you want to go sight seeing. We used wolt to get bigger groceries as we didn’t have a car. Overall we really loved the place and made our vacation unforgettable! I will definitely come back again!

-It’s a tiny thing but in the evening, when the sun was gone, we watched movies on the tv, but the TV only had Netflix and YouTube and we wanted to watch stuff on Disney plus which we couldn’t. We managed with Netflix/youtube though. :) -And the blinds in the bedrooms were a bit see though so the room was bright when the sun got up, but we just put a blanket over them so it was fine :)

The property was great really and really clean. Loved the pool area. If it was warmer we wouldve been in the pool every day.

Some areas of the rooms was not designed for tall people. I hit my head a couple of times but that's a problem I have in a few places.

The owners were so welcoming and friendly, they have even greeted us with a lunch from their own garden and a bottle of wine. All the family members were great and supportive. Whatever we asked them about was answered and even sent to us to the villa. They also sent us a cake. Then a souvenir with a bottle of local drink and coffee when we were leaving. Really everything was beyond our expectations. Not to forget about the villa and the facilities inside with the greatest technology and the perfect location.

We had a great holiday in the Garden Villa and definitely recommend it to everyone! The Villa is new, very well equipped and just as described. The pool is good sized and there is a lot of furniture to enjoy the outside space. There are plenty of vegetables growing in the garden for the guests to enjoy.The Villa is located in a quiet area and it has its own large parking space. It's advisable to have a car if you stay here as the shops are a few kilometers away. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We were greeted with a warm meal with local drinks upon our arrival and got a delivery of a very delicious cake and more local alcohol a few days later. Thank you again for everything!
